Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely to transport construction materials, gravel, and debris across job sites
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and DOT regulations during all operations
- Collaborate with site supervisors to optimize delivery schedules and route efficiency
- Load/unload materials using proper techniques and equipment handling procedures
- Document delivery reports and address any operational discrepancies immediately
- Maintain clean vehicles and report mechanical issues to maintenance team
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 3 years of dump truck operation experience
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions and physically demanding environments
- Familiarity with Tucson metro area routes and Arizona terrain
- Strong safety record and commitment to regulatory compliance
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Heavy equipment maintenance knowledge preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate in confined spaces
