Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer units on dedicated regional routes
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with all DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with logistics team for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Represent company through professional conduct at client facilities
- Utilize telematics systems for route optimization and real-time updates
- Participate in quarterly safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) systems
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate manual transmission
- Strong geographical knowledge of Western US corridor
- Flexibility for overnight stays (2-3 nights/week)
