Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailer units on dedicated regional routes
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining flawless safety records
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Utilize advanced telematics systems for real-time route optimization
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD) and compliance documentation
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control and secure transport
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Proven expertise in handling high-value/time-sensitive freight
- Strong knowledge of California and Southwest regional routes
- Ability to pass DOT physical and random drug screenings
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices and compliance regulations
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
