Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks in a safe and professional manner at all times.
- Transport freight to designated locations efficiently and on schedule.
- Complete daily logbooks, delivery receipts, and all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance.
- Navigate complex routes using GPS and established road maps.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and safety personnel.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight and balance guidelines.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) valid for at least 6 months.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of traffic laws, safety regulations, and DOT compliance.
