Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated long-haul routes
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery and fuel efficiency
- Collaborate with dispatch for real-time adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and zero safety incidents
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- DOT medical certification current and in good standing
- Proven ability to handle multi-day trips independently
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong navigation skills across eastern US corridor
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
