Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on dedicated long-haul routes
- Maintain meticulous logs and adhere to DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize delivery timelines and routes
- Uphold exceptional customer service during loading/unloading interactions
- Utilize telematics systems for real-time tracking and communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean 3-year driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience
- Ability to handle multi-day trips with flexible scheduling
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Strong knowledge of HOS regulations and route planning
