Responsibilities
- Operate late-model tractor-trailers on dedicated routes between Boston and Northeast distribution centers
- Safely transport time-sensitive freight while maintaining strict delivery schedules
- Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections and document vehicle maintenance needs
- Utilize GPS and telematics systems for efficient route planning and real-time communication
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with key clients through professional communication
- Maintain accurate delivery records and electronic logging system entries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR experience with dedicated route background
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and transportation management systems
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Pass background check and drug screening (required for all positions)
