Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated long-haul routes between Boston and key East Coast markets
- Maintain meticulous electronic logs and DOT compliance documentation
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Provide exceptional customer service through proactive communication with dispatch and clients
- Optimize routes for efficiency while adhering to delivery schedules
- Collaborate with logistics team to resolve delivery challenges
- Ensure cargo security and integrity throughout transit
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Experience with electronic logging systems (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for overnight travel and variable schedules
