Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles on dedicated regional routes with predictable schedules
- Safely transport freight while adhering to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient loading/unloading and route optimization
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Utilize electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS tracking for compliance
- Participate in ongoing safety training and performance reviews
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years OTR experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of regional Midwest geography and highway systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team communication
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends as needed
