Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles along designated routes in the Raleigh-Durham metropolitan area
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections ensuring DOT compliance
- Deliver freight to commercial and residential locations with precision and professionalism
- Maintain accurate electronic logging and documentation for all trips
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and on-time performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Adhere to all federal/state regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 3 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Raleigh, NC area navigation and regional highways
- Proven track record of safety compliance and on-time delivery
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings
