Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across assigned Bay Area routes
- Plan and optimize daily delivery schedules for maximum efficiency
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance records
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
- Utilize GPS technology for real-time route adjustments and traffic avoidance
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean MVR
- Minimum 3 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- HAZMAT endorsement preferred
- Ability to pass rigorous background check and drug screening
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Bay Area geography and traffic patterns
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
