Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for long-haul routes across Tennessee and surrounding states
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining flawless safety compliance records
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route planning and real-time communication
- Manage hazardous materials handling when required with DOT-certified protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Represent the company professionally at client sites and during transit stops
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Experience with electronic logging systems and route optimization software
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
