Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Madison and surrounding areas
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules while maintaining pristine vehicle condition
- Complete accurate pre/post-trip inspections and electronic logging documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Comply with all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team for route optimization and load adjustments
- Maintain clean driving record and represent company professionally at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Madison area and Wisconsin roadways
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Valid HazMat endorsement preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
