Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks on assigned routes in and around Louisville, KY.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely using pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Interact professionally with customers and verify delivery receipts.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation in accordance with FMCSA regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and sitting for extended periods.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
