Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on assigned local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securement and documentation.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and delivery paperwork in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering freight professionally and handling inquiries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal trucking regulations and safety standards.
- Basic computer skills for electronic logging systems (ELD) and inventory management.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or overtime as needed.
