Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within a 300-mile radius
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and accurately maintain electronic logs
- Deliver freight to diverse locations including distribution centers, retail outlets, and industrial sites
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and on-time performance
- Participate in continuous safety training and equipment maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 3 years verifiable OTR or regional experience
- HAZMAT certification preferred (training provided if not certified)
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Indianapolis metro area and surrounding regions
- Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background investigation
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
