Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for dedicated regional routes in the Corpus Christi metro area
- Adhere to strict HOS regulations and maintain meticulous DOT compliance documentation
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and minor maintenance tasks
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and delivery confirmations
- Load/unload freight using proper techniques and equipment handling protocols
- Build strong client relationships through professional on-site interactions
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and timing
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable OTR or regional route experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Excellent time management with consistent on-time delivery performance
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for in-field repairs
- Ability to work independently while maintaining clear communication with dispatch
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
