Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight across designated routes in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance to ensure optimal performance
- Utilize GPS technology to optimize delivery routes while maintaining strict timelines
- Document delivery information accurately and maintain electronic logs
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions and maintain delivery integrity
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and route navigation systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Previous experience with flatbed or tanker trucks preferred
