Responsibilities
- Operate tractor-trailers for regional routes within a 300-mile radius of Charlotte
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict compliance with DOT regulations
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adapt to changing schedules and optimize routes for efficiency
- Maintain clean driving record and uphold company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with at least 2 years' verifiable experience
- Clear MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with HOS regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with dry van refrigerated trailers preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
