Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain assigned box truck (26ft) for regional and long-haul routes
- Manage loading/unloading operations with precision and professionalism
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic documentation
- Optimize route efficiency to maximize delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle records
- Build strong client relationships through exceptional service
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Proven ability to manage independent contractor responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of Ohio/Midwest highway systems
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor maintenance
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capabilities
