Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks for local and regional freight delivery
- Maintain vehicle maintenance logs and ensure DOT compliance
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel costs
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery operations
- Manage documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for seamless freight movement
- Uphold strict safety protocols and defensive driving standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrakes endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Clean MVR and no preventable accidents in 3 years
- Reliable box truck (2015 or newer) with proper insurance
- Basic mechanical knowledge for on-road troubleshooting
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Drug-free certification and passing background check
