Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a box truck (26-28ft) for local/regional deliveries
- Manage route optimization and timely delivery of freight
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments and scheduling
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Build client relationships through professional service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Proven on-time delivery performance
- Strong knowledge of Southern California routes
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Reliable personal box truck (26-28ft) in good condition
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and time management abilities
