Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional routes within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex
- Manage timely deliveries while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate with dispatch team to optimize route planning and maximize efficiency
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through professional communication
- Utilize GPS tracking systems for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years box truck driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Texas roadways and traffic patterns
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proven time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic understanding of DOT regulations and compliance
- Reliable personal box truck (26ft+) with current registration and insurance
- Smartphone with GPS capability and reliable communication access
