Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight throughout the Northeast corridor
- Operate box trucks (24-26ft) with strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal load routing
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Build client relationships through professional on-site service
- Manage paperwork including BOLs, invoices, and compliance documents
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck owner operator experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck (2015 or newer preferred)
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
