Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks for time-sensitive local/regional deliveries in Greater Boston
- Maintain flawless delivery records and customer communication via our mobile app
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency using GPS navigation systems
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time schedule adjustments
- Represent Elite Logistics with professional appearance and service excellence
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience in urban delivery environments
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability coverage ≥ $1M)
- Strong knowledge of Boston metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and operate in all weather conditions
- Smartphone proficiency for our dispatch and tracking systems
- Entrepreneurial mindset with dedication to customer satisfaction
- Preferable: Hazardous materials endorsement
