Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local/regional deliveries within the Atlanta metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic records via our proprietary tracking system
- Manage on-time pickups/delays through proactive communication with dispatch team
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure DOT compliance
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and minimize empty miles
- Build strong client relationships through professional service and reliability
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck driving experience
- Strong knowledge of Atlanta metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
- DOT medical certification and required documentation
- Basic smartphone proficiency for electronic logging and communication
- Reliable personal vehicle for airport runs and equipment maintenance
