Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain Class B box trucks for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage route optimization to maximize daily mileage and delivery efficiency
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load assignments and schedule adjustments
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection reports, and compliance documentation
- Build client relationships through professional on-time deliveries and exceptional service
- Implement cost-saving strategies for fuel, maintenance, and operational expenses
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years verifiable experience)
- Proof of commercial insurance (liability $1M+ cargo)
- Relatively new or well-maintained box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Albuquerque metro and surrounding NM delivery routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Proficient in smartphone apps for communication and GPS navigation
