Responsibilities
- Operate box truck for local/regional freight routes with guaranteed weekly mileage
- Maintain clean, compliant vehicle records and DOT compliance documentation
- Optimize route efficiency to maximize delivery schedules and fuel economy
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and coordinate preventative maintenance
- Utilize digital dispatch platform for real-time load tracking and communication
- Build strong client relationships through professional delivery services
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment screening
- Reliable late-model box truck (2015+ preferred) with proper insurance
- Proficient in digital navigation and fleet management apps
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly during loading/unloading
