Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26ft) for local and regional deliveries
- Manage loading/unloading operations with efficiency and care
- Maintain strict adherence to delivery schedules and DOT regulations
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Optimize routes for maximum fuel efficiency and timely deliveries
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication
- Submit accurate delivery documentation and expense reports
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proven on-time delivery rate above 95%
- Strong knowledge of Boston metro area geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Commercial insurance coverage ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck (2018 or newer preferred)
- DOT medical certification
