Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight across San Antonio and surrounding regions
- Operate and maintain box truck fleet to DOT compliance standards
- Manage logistics documentation including bills of lading and delivery confirmations
- Optimize routes to maximize efficiency and fuel savings
- Build and maintain client relationships through professional service
- Track and report performance metrics to operations team
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load planning and scheduling
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or commercial driving experience
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability coverage)
- Reliable late-model box truck (2015 or newer)
- Strong knowledge of San Antonio metro area and Texas highways
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
