Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver Amazon packages to residential and commercial addresses in Durham County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and scan packages using provided handheld devices
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service during package interactions
- Adhere strictly to Amazon's delivery standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes
- Represent Amazon's brand professionally through appearance and conduct
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Durham area and GPS navigation proficiency
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently while meeting strict delivery deadlines
- Pass background check and drug screening as required by Amazon
