Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to customers within designated routes
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and handle customer interactions professionally
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet Amazon's performance metrics
- Assist with loading/unloading packages at fulfillment centers
- Adhere to all safety regulations and Amazon's delivery standards
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance driving skills
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Experience operating commercial vehicles or delivery trucks preferred
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
