Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to Amazon's strict safety protocols and DOT regulations
- Efficiently sort, load, and deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses within designated time windows
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation through Amazon's handheld scanning systems
- Provide exceptional customer service during package interactions and address delivery concerns
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and minimize delays
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance driving skills and Amazon service standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with verifiable references
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 pounds repeatedly throughout shift
- Strong knowledge of Corpus Christi area streets and navigation systems
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery deadlines
- Proficient in using handheld scanning devices and mobile technology
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
