Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to customers within designated time windows
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using Amazon's handheld scanning technology
- Provide exceptional customer service during package delivery and address inquiries professionally
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet performance metrics
- Report maintenance issues and vehicle defects promptly to fleet management
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 2 years)
- Ability to lift packages up to 50 pounds regularly and push/pull up to 70 pounds
- Strong time management skills with ability to meet tight delivery schedules
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using Amazon delivery applications
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass background check and drug screening
