Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently on various construction and excavation sites.
- Load and unload materials (soil, gravel, asphalt) ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in top working condition.
- Maintain a clean truck cab and bed, adhering to company sanitation standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and site supervisors to coordinate schedules and deliveries.
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with proper endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience operating dump trucks in a commercial setting.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a post-offer background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting heavy loads and operating heavy machinery controls.
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions and outdoor environments.
