Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps forecasting industry shifts and disruptive innovations
- Lead research initiatives on emerging technologies (quantum AI, biocomputing, neural interfaces)
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready solutions into current roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and industry thought leaders
- Build and manage an innovation ecosystem of startups, researchers, and academic partners
- Anticipate societal and ethical implications of technological advancements
- Drive adoption of agile methodologies for long-term strategic planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching future-focused initiatives (2020-2025)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting models
- Demonstrated success influencing organizational strategy at executive level
