Responsibilities

- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, AI ethics frameworks)
- Facilitate executive innovation workshops to align strategic priorities with future market demands
- Establish KPIs for innovation portfolios using scenario planning and predictive analytics
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget allocation across experimental technology verticals
- Represent company at global futurist conferences and patent strategy summits
- Mentor innovation teams in rapid prototyping and agile development methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or innovation consulting
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year market impact
- Expertise in exponential technologies (blockchain, biotech, AGI alignment)
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Published research in peer-reviewed innovation journals or white papers
- Experience managing cross-continental R&D teams in agile environments
