Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) to forecast industry transformations by 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for adopting emerging technologies while mitigating adoption risks
- Present compelling futuristic scenarios to C-suite executives and board members
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align teams on long-term innovation objectives
- Build partnerships with research institutions and thought leaders to shape industry discourse
- Author thought leadership content positioning our company as a futurist authority
- Advise on R&D investments in breakthrough technologies with 2026 market-readiness potential
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year technology roadmaps
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical skills with experience in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Strong presentation skills with experience to executive audiences
- Certification in Futures Studies or Innovation Management (e.g., CFSP, CIPM)
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech trends (portfolio required)
