Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology foresight frameworks for 2026+ horizon
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AGI, biotech, neurotech) for strategic opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technology investments with business objectives
- Produce forward-looking white papers and scenario planning documents
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Mentor junior strategists in future-gazing methodologies
- Represent the company at global tech summits and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional scenario planning and systems thinking abilities
- Published author in technology foresight or peer-reviewed journals
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, Delphi 2.0)
- Fluency in futures research tools (e.g., causal layered analysis, cross-impact matrix)
