Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) to identify market opportunities and threats
- Develop 10-year strategic roadmaps for product innovation aligned with 2026 societal shifts
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineering, design, and business teams to translate foresight into actionable plans
- Present trend briefings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders including UN technology councils
- Author white papers on the future of human-machine collaboration and digital sovereignty
- Manage a portfolio of speculative R&D projects with $2M+ annual budget
- Represent the company at Davos, Web Summit, and exclusive futurist forums
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Futures Studies, or related field with 8+ years of strategic experience
- Published author or thought leader in emerging technology (e.g., MIT Tech Review contributor)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, neurotech, or climate tech
- Proven track record of launching products from futuristic concepts to market leadership
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards or government technology initiatives
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, scenario planning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ transformative technology innovations
- Ability to distill complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for diverse audiences
