Responsibilities
- Architect and implement the 2026 technology vision roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential (AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence)
- Develop predictive models for technology adoption curves and market disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development priorities
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and innovation labs
- Present future scenarios to C-suite executives and Board of Directors with data-driven recommendations
- Author thought leadership publications on technological evolution and its societal impact
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of successfully implementing future-focused technology initiatives
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, AR/VR, blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Futures Studies, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights
- Experience working with executive teams in Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Published author or speaker at major technology conferences (TED, CES, Web Summit)
- Certification in Foresight Methodology or Strategic Foresight preferred
