Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional teams to integrate emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech) into core business operations
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports on disruptive forces reshaping global industries
- Partner with R&D to incubate moonshot projects with 3-5 year commercialization timelines
- Advise executive leadership on ethical implications and risk mitigation for breakthrough technologies
- Establish innovation metrics to track progress against future-state objectives
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry symposiums
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record translating future trends into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Experience leading high-complexity projects with C-level stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry journals
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex future scenarios
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFMP, CFP) preferred
