Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, climate tech, bio-convergence) and synthesize actionable intelligence for 2026 strategic planning
- Develop scenario-based foresight models to quantify disruption risks/opportunities across 15+ industries
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Build executive dashboards tracking emerging technologies with 3-5 year adoption trajectories
- Author forward-looking white papers positioning Horizon as thought leadership in exponential change
- Partner with venture capital arm to identify and incubate 2026-defining startups
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D leadership
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Proven track record translating future scenarios into enterprise strategy
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., APF, Foresight Practitioner)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in future studies or tech innovation
