Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 technology roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast disruptive innovations and market shifts
- Produce strategic whitepapers and executive briefings on emerging technologies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate market viability
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress against strategic milestones
- Represent the company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurology, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning or innovation leadership at tech companies
- Expertise in AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence trends
- Proven track record of executing multi-year strategic initiatives
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in foresight frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Experience with scenario planning and risk mitigation for emerging tech
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
