As a key member of our Futures Division, you'll collaborate with C-suite executives, R&D pioneers, and global thought leaders to anticipate disruptive forces and shape sustainable growth strategies. Your work will directly influence product development, market positioning, and organizational resilience in rapidly evolving ecosystems.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and socio-economic shifts to develop 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into innovation roadmaps and product development priorities
- Design and execute horizon-scanning methodologies using data analytics, expert interviews, and trend synthesis
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor communities with compelling data visualizations
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions addressing anticipated market needs and societal challenges
- Establish a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers to maintain competitive foresight advantage
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 or tech unicorns
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with experience communicating complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives from future trend analysis
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from ACFC or APF) strongly preferred
