Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies and societal shifts
- Lead scenario planning workshops for Fortune 500 companies on 2026 market landscapes
- Conduct primary research on exponential technologies and their disruptive potential
- Translate complex technical concepts into executive-level strategic frameworks
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize innovation portfolios aligned with future trends
- Author white papers and thought leadership pieces on future-focused topics
- Advose global policy initiatives on technology governance and ethical AI deployment
- Build and manage a network of futurists, scientists, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, tech innovation, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, Quantum, Biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and pattern recognition capabilities
- Experience facilitating C-level strategic planning sessions
- Advanced degree in technology, economics, or future studies (PhD preferred)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and trend analysis methodologies
