Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market signals
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for 2026-2035 horizons
- Design and facilitate futures-thinking workshops with cross-functional teams
- Create foresight frameworks and predictive models for organizational decision-making
- Present trend analysis and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Collaborate with R&D to integrate future-focused innovations into product roadmaps
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry experts
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Experience developing and implementing strategic foresight frameworks in corporate environments
- Portfolio demonstrating futures-thinking projects or published foresight research
