Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic scenarios using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize technical, market, and geopolitical data into strategic roadmaps
- Quantify future opportunities through market sizing, risk assessment, and ROI modeling
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite executives and board members with compelling data visualization
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging technologies and paradigm shifts
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market demands
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports influencing company-wide strategic priorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology adoption curves
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with advanced visualization capabilities
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and influencing strategic decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
