Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026+ innovation strategy, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Identify and analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) with commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through MVPs
- Develop patentable intellectual property portfolios in strategic growth areas
- Present visionary roadmaps to investors, board members, and industry stakeholders
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and research labs for frontier tech exploration
- Mentor innovation teams in design thinking and agile futurism methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio required)
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, or Futures Studies (PhD/MSc preferred)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their industry implications
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Experience building and scaling innovation labs within enterprise environments
- Certification in Futures Thinking or equivalent strategic foresight training
