Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to inform strategic planning through 2026+
- Develop and maintain horizon scanning frameworks to identify emerging opportunities and threats
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable innovation roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and boards with compelling data-driven narratives
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author thought leadership publications and represent Horizon Labs at premier future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and technology impact assessment
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-suite and board audiences
- Strong network within futurist communities (e.g., Association of Professional Futurists)
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact matrix)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused research or strategic frameworks
